I came during a perfect time of the year. In October, the weather transitions from wet to dry. When I first arrived, it stormed by night and got to either the low 60s or high 50s and by day it would get hot around the mid 80s. By mid October though it stopped raining for the most part and it was mainly sunny and still in the mid 80s. The heat was also the humid kind so I was always sweating when I went outside. It’s strange because Projects Abroad recommended bringing clothes for cold weather but there was rarely a time when it got cool. Even in the hospital I was expecting it to be cold but it was also pretty warm there. The weather was beautiful and many days there would be sunny blue skies and some days it would be cloudy in the morning then sunshine later.

One exception to this was when I went to Ajijic and Chapala. Since these are located near a lake, it was cooler and windy outside.
